- Data ownership:
- The Operator can access, store, analyze, and share the data and information generated by Operator’s Equipment
- The Operator respects the intellectual property rights of the OEMs/OTMs to the various applications and algorithms that generate the data and information
- Data accessibility:
- The OEMs/OTMs provide clearly defined and published (with recognition of the intellectual property aspects for all their applications and algorithms) data dictionaries (formats and types), interfaces and resource (i.e. hardware & software) requirements
- The Operator requires read-only access to all raw data that is created in real-time through common industry hardware and software interfaces that are non-proprietary or protected (such as OPC or CAN)
- To ensure optimal system performance, the Operator will manage and control the communications throughput and bandwidth to permit the required data access by all parties
