The purpose of the Asset Management and Operations Working Group is to ensure the information needed by stakeholders of mining equipment is clearly identified, documented and communicated.
Objectives
The Asset Management and Operations Working Group is focused on 4 main objectives:
- Identify the industry requirements for data and information from mining equipment
- Summarize and communicate common data and reporting needs so the information provided is of value to users of equipment assets, enabling effective management of assets and performance
- Summarize existing data definitions for the mining industry and propose universal standard definitions
