VIEW AGENDA

The Sudbury Future Mining Forum, held in conjunction with CIM on June 13 and 14, 2018, brings together experts to lead conversations that impact the global mining industry. This event provides the opportunity to hear case studies from operators and discuss current initiatives from across the globe.

This two-day forum will be broken down into two themes of:

  • Underground Innovation
  • Autonomous Mining and Interoperability

We will be hitting on critical topics such as Battery Electric Vehicles (BEV), Short-Interval Control (SIC) and Communication Infrastructure.  To date we have confirmed speakers from notable mining companies as Barrick Gold, Gencore and Vale with more to come.

The Sudbury Future Mining Forum, is the first of several forums currently on the horizon this year to be hosted at several international locales including Brisbane (Aug. 21-22), Luleå (Sept. 5-6), Edmonton (Oct. 2-3), Tuscon (Oct.) and Johannesburg (Oct. 30-31).
