Co-Leader, Situation Awareness Working Group

Andrew is a Production Systems Engineer at Barrick Gold.
He holds an undergraduate degree in Mining Engineering from McGill University and a Master’s degree in the same field from Queen’s University.
He has a wide range of engineering and operational experience in the mining field, from the oil sands to underground sub-level caving. He has extensive experience in mine planning, drill and blast design and fleet management systems. His Master’s research focused on open pit traffic optimization, which led him into his current role.
